Lee Presents at COP17 Side Event on Clean Development Mechanism Projects

WESTBROOK, ME — Cathy Lee, of Lee International, will moderate an official joint side event between the United Nations Framework Convention COP17 Climate Change and the South African government on the topic of South Africa's landfill gas Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects. Lee organized the program which takes place Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, in Durban, South Africa. The presentation is titled, "South Africa's Landfill Gas-to-Energy CDM Projects."

Lee has been a carbon advisor to several of South Africa's largest cities in the development of their landfill gas CDM projects, and is a co-author of several papers on Clean Development Mechanism Landfill Gas projects including:
