Catherine Lee Presents on Carbon Markets to Corporate Roundtable
WESTBROOK, ME Catherine
A. Lee, managing director of Lee International and an attorney with Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, will present on the market in carbon credits trading in the U.S. at a roundtable meeting of the Transatlantic Retail Working Group, a joint collaboration of Clean Air-Cool Planet and The Climate Group in Framingham, Massachusetts this week. Lee, an authority on international emissions trading, will provide an overview of the carbon market, offset products that are proposed for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and why US businesses should get involved.
Participating are US and UK representatives of retail and consumer products corporations including British Airways, Honda, Ikea, Ben & Jerry's, Staples, Starbucks, Virgin Retail, Bank of America and Verizon Communications.
