Lee Is Panelist at ISWA Paris on Waste Management and Climate Control

Cathy Lee will present at Waste Management & Climate Change: Securing the Benefits, an International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) Workshop Programme, taking place in Paris, France, on May 17-19, 2009. Lee will present during the afternoon panel session, Reduction Opporunities, on the topic: Bringing Waste Management into Carbon Markets. Other panelists include: Christian Fischer, ETC/EEA, on EU Opportunities and Barriers to Reduce WM-GHG Emissions; Jean Bogner, Landfills+ Inc., on Current Project-based Emission Reduction Opportunities; and Adriaan Korthuis, Climate Focus, on Post-2012 Global Opportunities and Potential Barriers. Gary Crawford of Veolia Environmental Services will lead the panel.

Organized by the ISWA Task Force on Greenhouse Gases and Solid Waste Management, the workshop will have a technical and policy-setting focus attracting waste and climate change professionals from around the world. For more information, or to register, please go to the ISWA workshop page.
